Here are the Terms and Conditions for the OpenTech 2008 competition, which took place on 5 July 2008:

1. The competition is open to anyone attending OpenTech 2008, with the exception of employees of BT or Osmosoft.
   
2. The prizes are 1 first prize of a BUG, plus 4 modules, 1 second prize of a GP2X Linux powered handheld games console and 1 third prize of a selection of O'Reilly books.
   
3. No cash alternative is available for any prize. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent or greater value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.
   
4. To enter, participants must present their submission at the "Venue" room at lunchtime (1pm-2pm) on the day of the OpenTech 2008 event.
   
5. The winners will be chosen by an independent panel of judges. Winners will be announced at the end of the Event.
   
6. The Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these rules may be disqualified.
